• Thank you for the question. No, the Envy 15-fh0023dx has onboard memory - soldered onto the board, and not upgradeable.

• That is very interesting. I had asked the Best Buy sales associate in Santa Fe a few days ago if the RAM was upgradeable and he said "yes, that is standard on all these laptops." And the HP Envy 2-1 was included in that statement. So either the sales associate flat out lied to me, or he doesn't know what he's talking about. I'm a little upset either way.
