- Answer The computer comes with MacAfee and a 3 month trial for it. I would personally recommend using windows defender which is free and comes installed with the computer. So the laptop does have virus protection.

- Answer Thank you for the question. Yes, you can switch out the SSD to one of more capacity. We always recommend that upgrades be performed by a professional technician. The operating system on the Envy 15-fh0023dx is WIndows 11 Home (not S Mode).

- Answer A good gaming laptop requires a dedicated GPU. This computer does not have a dedicated GPU. It will struggle to play most games. It is not a gaming laptop.

- Answer Yes, you can disable in settings. When you go to change your password to login, the option will be there. Or, if you temporarily want it off, slide the camera shut.

QuestionI purchased this laptop a month ago and I'm concerned about the battery life. With a full charge, I am only able to use it for approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes before it dies. Is this normal? I'm just using it to surf the internet.

(Battery life tested by HP using continuous FHD video playback, 1080p (1920x1080) resolution, 150 nits brightness, system audio level at 17% as image default, player audio level at 100%, played full-screen from local storage, headphone attached or through speaker (if no audio jack port), wireless on but not connected.)
