Landon, thank you for your technical concern. The Intel Ultra series are designed to use as little power as possible while delivering good performance. This low consumption means less heat generated and when combined with adequate ventilation, heat will never be an issue.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I own this laptop and it does not get nearly as hot as some others that I have owned. I can put it on bare legs and not be bothered. I would describe it as getting just a little warm--never really hot. I haven't used any intense processing yet--like video editing or hard-core gaming. However, from my experience, it does not overheat at all.
