• Not necessary for me. It's for my home use- Word, Excel. Quicken, and Email.

• Good question. This computer has great specs for music production and streaming Xbox games. As far as the Xbox goes, the computer meets the system requirements. Music production depends on the specific software you use. I hope this helps.
