“is the top tray used for only faxes? Or can it also be use for multiple copies. I don't plan on using this printer for fax. I debating on getting this one or the hp 5660. They are the same price so I'm not sure what's the difference besides faxes.”

I bought the 5660 originally, had a small problem with it. They were going to exchange it for me but I asked the HP rep who happened to be in the store what was their best photo printer, she set me up with the 7640. I love this printer over the 5660, the screen, everything. I'm not sure about top trays yet, haven't tried them.
