“I am replacing a c6180 all in one that I was pleased with I'm looking at 6978 and 7640 which is better and does either have 2 separate photo trays”

• The 7640 has 2 seperate trays. It can print 4x6 & 5x7 photos. I own this printer and extremely happy with.

• We just got the 7640. I can not tell you if it is better than the 6978. Printing of documents is very good, even when set to draft. I am not that happy with the printing of photos. They seem to come out darker. The 7640 has two trays. Top one holds up to 5x7 photo. Bottom holds 8x10 photo or paper. Hope this helps.
