“Is scanning software included? I am currently forced to use "Windows Fax & Scan" with my current HP printer and I absolutely hate it. Hoping a new printer will have a more user friendly software program included?”

I was able to easily enter my email address into this printer. I can scan documents or photos and send them to my email. From there I can forward the image wherever I need to. This process works well for me since this printer is wifi capable and I have the tablet based, square point of sale system in my retail store and no desktop or laptop computers around.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I was able to scan from the printer, although I did get an error message on the computer that the scan option was not downloaded. The printer was used in the WiFi option so I was able to see my available computers pressing scan on the printer and could choose the one I wanted to send the scan to.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.One thing I learned with my HP printer is that there is a not too obvious option for "Network" in addition to the name of the printer only - HP 7460 Network instead of just HP 7460.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The product software is included with this unit, but once plugged in, and you set the time/date on the LCD display, it will inform you to go to 123.hp.com, from there, navigate, and you can set up your device through the HP website.
