• Yes! This printer should have no problems working with windows 8 if installed correctly. It comes with an install disk so if you use that, no problems should come up.

• I would say YES. I recently loaded Windows 10 on my computer which may have contributed to my other printer crashing. This printer had a sticker on it that said Windows 10 compatible. So, I would say if it will work for Win10 the it should work with Win8. Good Luck.
