• Yes..if it's HP the software constantly neede re-installing and setts itself to :"off line" when you boot up. They have been like this across all models for years.

• I had a HP 7640 and it kept going "offline". I finally decided to buy a new one HP 7643 and it is doing the same thing! This will probably be my last HP.
