- Answer same question I asked when I walked in to the bestbuy store. I was looking for the 7640 which they don't have. The rep pointed at the 7643. He says it is essentially a rebranded 7640.

QuestionWhy is the HP Envy 7643 not listed on the HP web site or any other website? I am trying to research weather is a good printer or not and its not listed anywhere.

- Answer Dear Wondering; I did some research, too, and did not find much information on it. The way to look at it is this model goes along with the HP Envy 7600 series; this means that they all work alike, they all have the same functions, etc. In my professional dealings with this model, selling it, and setting it up, it works great, prints fast, and it is easy to set up. It only uses 2 cartridges, so you'll be saving some $$$. I would buy it again. Best of luck.

QuestionFor duplex printing, does it print one side first, then you put the page in the feeder to print on the other side?

- Answer I'm pretty sure if you want to print a two-sided document, it will do it without having to put the paper in again. The copy comes out about half way, then goes back in to print the other side.

- Answer Even if the color is out, you can print black. Although, it will remind you everytime you print something.

- Answer Yes, it will work, also is very easy to print from a mobile device. It also comes with an email address so you can send pdf and word files (just the ones I've tried) directly to the printer from anywhere.

- Answer Yes but most likely you will have to call Canon support and they will install the drivers you need. It takes maybe 10 minutes. This is an awesome wireless printer. I have 3 of them and they are the best over competitors.

- Answer Yes, you can FAX and yes, the autofeed tray holds at least 10 pages.

QuestionMy last, HP printer was a hp 5740 ...I'm constantly installing an offline printer and it gets old after a while ... will I have the same problem with this one

- Answer Yes..if it's HP the software constantly neede re-installing and setts itself to :"off line" when you boot up. They have been like this across all models for years.

- Answer When you register this printer, HP will generate an email address for your printer that you can print to. You have the option then to customize the email name as well as to who has access to it
