“we brought this computer and found it has no sound. In the past the speakers was in the monitor. we brought a set of Logitech Z200 hooked up power and plugged into back of computer (green) . still no sound. Yes, we turned knob to turn speakers on”

It came with a standard soundcard. We use a set of headphones and had no issues. Check that the computer volume is turned up/not muted, if you haven't already. Then control with the speaker volume afterwards.

The only other thing I can think make sure the sound is turned up (click on the speaker Icon at the bottom right of the screen) and of course make sure the sound isn't muted (Also that little speaker Icon).Next thing is if you have the knowledge check the windows mixer. No foul meant here....just don't know your level of expertise.
