There is one expansion slot for an HDD. I added and mounted a 2TB HDD for data storage. There are additional Sata connections but no mounting locations in the chassis.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I added two 4T hard drives and set them up as a pair of RAID-1 mirrors. I used the 4 screw holes on the bottom of the second HD (HP provides 8 screws) and a 3-inch power cable extension. My power meter shows that with the two extra HDs running, the total power never exceeds 90W; the machine has a 180W power supply, so everything is fine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The computer comes with a kit of 8 screws, as well as SATA and power connections for 2 internal hard drives. The second HD requires a power cable extension. and needs to be mounted upside-down using the 4 screw holes on the bottom of the drive. You will need insulating tape to protect the printed circuit on the bottom - now upside- of the second HD. I've configured the 2 HDs as a pair of RAID-1 mirrors, using the built-in storage option in Windows 11. This works perfectly for local access to my entire Dropbox archive.
