correction to prior review stating " just bought the te02-0030 and see no third m.2 slot." There is in fact a second m.2 ssd slot and you have to take out the video card to see it! You can easily add the second m.2 there and even with a reasonably short heat sink on it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not having read the specs for maximums, I can at least say that you can certainly add a 2tb m.2 in a second slot (under the video card-remove it for access to the slot). You can also add a 2.5 inch ssd (not as expected to be fast as the m.2).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. So I did purchase a version of this computer from another store and it should have the same mother board as this computer. The 2nd SSD slot is located under the Video card. There is a youtube video from HP called Removing & Replacing Parts || HP Envy TE02-0000. I just installed a 2nd NMVE SSD and it wasn't too difficult. Just need the right sized screw driver.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just bought the te02-0030 and see no third m.2 slot. It looks like one 2230 size m.2 is consumed by wireless, and another 2280 is used by the boot m.2 drive. It's a small motherboard, so a third m.2 slot would be difficult to miss. There is a traditional HDD connector that could be used for a 3.5 inch SSD drive as a possible secondary internal storage option.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thank you for the question. The Envy TE02-0030 has lots of room for expansion, with 2 additional M.2 slots. for an SSD. The HP specification is silent on SSD speed; but you'll probably get reads at 7000 MB/s, and writes at about 5000 MB/s..
