• When you first turn it on it will have Windows 11 installed and after that you need to download the software programs you intend to use. Microsoft will ask for the key to 365 Office which I use but I still had to download the software.

• There are some HP programs as well as McAfee that. Those should not cause a slowdown when you start up the unit. Any additional programs will need to be downloaded and you can uninstall any programs you feel you do not need.
