Hello! Thank you for your question, Matthew! This HP Envy Desktop (TE01-1154) has the following expansion slots on the motherboard: two M.2, one of which is currently in use by the installed 1TB SSD, 1 PCIe x16, and 1 PCIe x1. There are no extra adaptors or equipment needed to add another hard drive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Ok, I want to revise my answer slightly. There are two M.2 connections on the motherboard. One has the Kioxia BG4 1TB SSD, which is a small square SSD drive. The other is a full size rectangle M.2 connection, but it already has a card installed in it. I cannot see what the card is, because the computer frame blocks the view of the top of the card. Does anyone know what this card is?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just bought a M.2 SSD drive. I opened up the computer and looked for quite a while, and there definitely is not a second M.2 interface on the motherboard. If there is, please post a picture.
