Yes absolutely. I have used this and a Mac for a comparison. The HP is much more user friendly ( I prefer Windows ). Image quality and processing through Lightroom and Photoshop is instantaneous. Highly recommend for photography from novice to professional.

Please try again later.You may want to find a computer with a dedicated graphics card (GPU) because this computer has the built in Intel HD Graphics 530, which really isn't meant for heavy tasks such as video editing or gaming. The Intel Core i7 processor in this unit is very speedy, so that wouldn't be something to worry about, and also the 16 GB RAM is suitable for this. This computer has one empty PCI Express slot, which can be used to install a graphics card. If you can find a graphics card that will be able to fit inside of the machine, and also possibly replace the power supply to a more powerful one (At least 500W), then you've got a heck of a machine.
