Just give the slot's door a gentile tap.

Look at the from of the computer - the second slat from the left is split. Press on the top half and the drive draw will open, alternatively you can open the slat and press on the drive itself. Photo is attached

Just flip open the slat with your finger to open. You can see the separation on the slat and it would be the top part.
