Hello and thank you for choosing HP! According to the BestBuy website, this model has (2) M.2 Slots and (2) 3.5" Bays for HHD's. When a new storage drive is installed you will need to format it in order to put a letter as reference. There are a lot of video guides online that will help you with this fairly simple process.
