larry - not this one. we have a mac household with a netgear cable router and this printer brings our network down. customer support is terrible. i'm in the same boat as you - now looking for a reliable printer for an apple household...

There are a variety of series that could be amazing fits, from our low-profile Envy and OfficeJet models, to the more photo oriented Envy Photo series, or our home/office OfficeJet Pro models!! Any of them will be compatible with your iMac!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Larry; Good question. Between HP, Canon, and Epson series of printers, you should have a good amount of quality to pick from. Most people who purchase printers are looking for longer-lasting ink cartridges, which Epson has the longest. Simplicity falls with HP when using the machine. Canon is always a professional print and finish, but a little harder to press buttons and get a task done. My opinion is to pick an HP that is worth more than $150. The cheaper models may seem appropriate, but the ink is expensive and they usually die within a 2-3 year period. HP is my pick for you, Larry. Best of luck.
