- Answer Hello Pete, The 7155 can print on Heat transfer paper but will not be able to print in Heat transfer Vinyl. As the Vinyl will require specialized ink to adhere to the material.

QuestionReceived this for a gift and it only gives 3 paper options: plain, glossy, lightweight. Where are the true paper options or how do you get more options like Matte, everyday, etc? The print quality to date is total crap and l can’t get other options.

The Envy Photo 7155 offers much flexibility in media 16-80 lbs, such as Plain Paper; HP Photo Papers; HP Matte Brochure or Professional Paper; HP Matte Presentation Paper; HP Glossy Brochure or Professional Paper; Other Photo Inkjet Papers; Other Matte Inkjet Papers; Other Glossy Inkjet Papers, Plain Paper, Light/Recycled. Make sure you've downloaded the printer software to your computer, and use "custom" when setting your paper/media and print quality options. QuestionDoes the scanner aspect stay connected to the computer overnight? My 6255, which is an earlier model to the 7155, has to be turned off then back on again in order to scan.

- Answer The answer is that the printer that I purchased HP7155 is what we were looking for. It is smaller than printers that we had in the past and it does what it is said to do, and the quality if very acceptable. We are very pleased! We would recommend this printer to the casual user for quality printing and copying.

- Answer Hi Paula, thank you for the question and apologies for the confusion. The Envy Photo 7155 uses dye and pigment inks only. Accepted media types are: Plain Paper; HP Photo Papers; HP Matte Brochure or Professional Paper; HP Matte Presentation Paper; HP Glossy Brochure or Professional Paper; Other Photo Inkjet Papers; Other Matte Inkjet Papers; Other Glossy Inkjet Papers, Plain Paper, Light/Recycled. It will not print on brass however, it will print on stickers and transfer media that you can then affix to the brass surface.
