A:AnswerYes it supports windows ink. The stylus they recomend is the hp pen I've read mixed reviews about it so depending on what you will need it for it might be a good buy or not.
A:AnswerI ran Minecraft on my much older HP Envy. I don't know who they have on HP Staff answering these questions, but they keep giving people both contradictory info and just outright bad info. You can run games without a dedicated GPU. Minecraft is pretty lightweight so an integrated GPU will be fine.
A:AnswerHello, the HP Pen works well with the HP touchscreen laptops which include the precision tip, pressure sensitivity, giving you complete control and works with a large assortment of apps for your computer work and drawing creativity. Thank you for being an HP customer!
A:AnswerTargus replacement laptop chargers come with a variety of ports to fit almost any laptop. I have used these with several different laptops throughout the years.
A:AnswerThese machines are considered non-upgradeable and it would be recommended that any upgrades be done by a certified expert. If you are curious about upgrading this machine, you can contact HP Support or Geek Squad. If Geek Squad does the upgrades, it does not void the warranty of the machine, but HP will not cover the new parts.
A:AnswerYES actually, and I recently discovered this in a panic to finish a project! There's also a separate charging indicator LED next to the port which will glow orange or white depending on the charge of the battery just like the one for the normal DC barrel chargeport. Kudos to HP on this one.
A:AnswerHP has a one year warranty. Which you may need...the hinges have a problem on many of them where they come loose. On my sons computer, it broke the screen twice. The first time, I thought it was user error and paid BB over $500 to repair the screen. It was broken in exactly the same way a couple of days after getting it back. I know that wasn't a coincidence (I had put the computer up and it came out of it's case with a broken screen). I looked online to see if there were similar problems and found that they had problems with the hinges HP is currently repairing the problems. No word from Best Buy and Geek Squad on if they'll reimburse (or HP) for the first screen repair due to the hinge.
A:AnswerIf you're taking out the existing RAM entirely, it can be any stick as long as it's in the SODIMM form factor. If you're adding more to what's already inside, make sure the stick's brand, capacity, and speed match (ideally they're the same stick).
