“Hi, I recently bought this laptop and it said there was a built-in-mic but when I received it no input device would be detected. Is there no built in Microphone? Because the microphone would work perfectly when I hooked up various different audio devices.”

Yes I use mine everyday for work. You may have to update the driver. I believe I had to uninstall one in it reinstalled the correct one.
