• Yes this is the 4th generation. Thanks for pointing out this error. I will report it to Best Buy.

• This is a 3rd generation chip, but they called it 4000 series to differentiate it from their desktop counterparts (these compare to desktop Ryzen 3000 series). Current desktop series are 5000.
