• I just bought this laptop and yes you can charge with USB-C. I am charging at this moment with one. I am finding a number of incorrect answers by the HP team on this laptop.

• Hello and thanks for your question. No, this model laptop has a barrel power connector that works with the included HP Power Adapter. It cannot be charged from the USB-C port.
