• Mine has been super quiet. I think some of the reviews were for the first version from 2015.

• I have never heard the fan when i've used it. I use it for photoshop and for netflix for extensive periods of time and it has never been noticeable to me!

• This machine is very quiet. I cannot really ever hear it. It stays rather cool as well.
