• I asked the exact same question and searched everywhere for it! My laptop is at home so i'm trying to remember, but i'm pretty sure the activation button is above the number 4 on your keyboard!

• Yes it does have a backlit keyboard. If you look at the top row of buttons, click on the f5 key to activate the backlighting.

• It does have a backlit keyboard. You have to press the F5 button at the very top row of keys to turn the light on and off. I hope this helps.
