No cd dvd drive so no you cannot BURN music onto a cd. You can play music on it such as from youtube.com etc. Buy an external cd player (optical drive) theyre cheap and most can rewrite over cds that have music on them already, PLUS not having cd/dvd drive will save ur laptop feom being bulkier and heavier.
