“I'm looking for a laptop for a small business. I'm just starting out and basically only need it to run windows, quicken, facebook etc. I do not play video games. Is this more than I need?”

This model will be more than enough. I run Quicken on it and access various websites. Your intended activities are not very intensive. You could probably "get by" with a slower processor and less RAM but if your needs could grow in the years ahead this laptop will accommodate future activities.
