QuestionMy screen is separating from the backing at the lower right side. It appears to be caused by the hinge spring tension. Currently I am operating the computer as a desktop, not closing it. Any ideas on a fix would be very much appreciated. Thank you

- Answer I had this issue! If you have had the laptop for less than 1 year, you can take it in for free repairs. They take about a week to return the laptop to you, so make sure you have a backup device.

QuestionDoes this computer come with anti virus protection. I also installed Microsoft 365 on my new computer, but I keep getting emails from McAfee that my antivirus trial is up and need to purchase more. Is this accurate?

- Answer The McAfee program that came installed was just a trial subscription. Windows 10 has a built-in antivirus called Windows Defender that works great.

QuestionIs the battery replaceable for this laptop? Can I upgrade the RAM? Or the SSD/storage? (For 15M-ED0013DX or 15M-ED0023DX)

- Answer The battery is replaceable on both laptops, but it requires some computer surgery to remove the back and possibly other components. The RAM on neither laptop is upgradeable. There isn't a second m.2 slot on the motherboard to add a second SSD, so you'd need to remove the existing one, replace it with a higher capacity drive, and then reinstall your software.

- Answer Hi Castillo! The HP Envy x360 laptop has the USB-C and a USB type A on the left hand side of the keyboard, and a USB type A on the right hand side. The laptop has an HDMI port on the left side and you can use an HDMI splitter to add 2 external monitors. Here is an example of an HDMI splitter: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/rocketfish-2-output-hdmi-splitter-with-4k-and-hdr-pass-through-black/5986903.p?skuId=5986903 You can also use a USB-C docking station with HDMI or Displayport connectors for your 2 monitors.

- Answer It’s great for school. I bought specifically for online classes I have currently during the Summer. I have to be on Zoom for an estimated 6 hours 4 days a week and the computer doesn’t get hot and has great battery life. Keyboard and buttons are very responsive without changing any settings.

- Answer The only video editor app that comes free with windows is in the Photos app. Windows 10 has a hidden video editor that works a bit like Windows Movie Maker or Apple iMovie. You can use it to trim videos or create your own home movies and slideshows. You can even have it create videos automatically. This feature is part of the Photos app.

- Answer The only thing to do is try to run the game on minimum settings. If you have done that already there will not be much else you can do on this model. You would need a laptop with a dedicated graphics card to get better performance on Fortnite.

- Answer They are all very similar except that the 15-ed0008ca has a 1TB hard disk drive and the other 2 have a 256GB solid state drive. Also, the 2 models ending in ca were originally designed to release in Canada and the one ending in DX was released in the US.
