QuestionDoes this model: 15m-ed1013dx have the PCIe 4.0 speed 16 GT/s bit rate speed on the NVMe M.2 sdd port(s)? I'd want to install a PCIe 4.0 Samsung 980 PRO NVMe M.2 solid state drive. So the faster PCIe 4.0 16 GT/s bit rate speed is most important to me.

QuestionIs the system bus PCI express 4.0, or is it just the older slower version PCIe3.0? I know the processor is supposed to be able to support PCIe 4.0, but it needs to have other chipset hardware that can support PCIe 4.0 as well. I don't want to buy PCIe 3.0

- Answer Thanks for your question. Usually after startup if your laptop is doing a Windows update in the background, or your antivirus/malware software is running, the fan may be running a lot. If you are having heavy using your man may be running. If you feel this is excessive you can contact HP support at https://support.hp.com. You can also reach them by phone at 1-800-474-6836.

- Answer Hi, thank you for the question. Yes, the Envy 15m-ed1013dxis good for editing photos. However, photos can demand a lot of space. Note that this computer has 256GB of storage - you might want more. You can also use an external drive to store these large files.

- Answer Thanks for the question. Any USB keyboard would work with the laptop. If you need a keyboard and mouse, I would suggest a wireless keyboard and mouse as it would take only one USB slot. The laptop has an HDMI connector for a monitor. Here is a nice monitor that would work with the laptop. The good news is that this HP ENVY x360 model can store anywhere from hundreds to thousands of photos depending on the resolution of those photos and the amount of available space on the internal hard drive. For extra storage, you can purchase and connect an external hard drive or purchase online cloud-based storage to greatly expand your storage needs.
