Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.A Hard Disk Drive (HDD or Hard Drive) and a Solid State Drive (SSD) are both drives. However, they are entirely different. HDD are drives that require moving components and therefore slower than a SSD. Byte to Byte a SSD cost more. I'd do my own research, but personally I run a SSD in my laptop and love it. Takes less than 5 seconds to boot up.
