The i7 is simply a better processor so for the slight difference, I'd go with the i7.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you are looking at 6th gen processors the new i5 and i7 for laptops are both dual core and usually run at 2.3 and 2.5 ghz. An i7 processor is simply known to be faster but unless you are using heavier softwares or gaming the difference is not noticeable, especially if both models you are looking at have the same amount of RAM.
