Yes, it's an excellent choice. It's got a fast i7 processor, plenty of RAM to have several programs open at once, and a large fast solid state drive for storage.

I believe it would be. It's pretty fast. Only had it a couple of weeks. My wife uses it for works and likes it. If you are going to hook it up to an ethernet, you will have to buy the adapter. There is no ethernet plug for it
