Yes. The vent holes are conveniently placed on the correct side for this to work. There are catches in the disk tray to help hold the disk when either orientation.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.One side has no ventilation holes. This also happens to be the side you will lay it on to use the DVD tray right side up. I have used it this way for several months and have had no problems. I really like this configuration. Just make sure the sides and back with holes have unobstructed airflow.
