• Yes. The vent holes are conveniently placed on the correct side for this to work. There are catches in the disk tray to help hold the disk when either orientation.

• One side has no ventilation holes. This also happens to be the side you will lay it on to use the DVD tray right side up. I have used it this way for several months and have had no problems. I really like this configuration. Just make sure the sides and back with holes have unobstructed airflow.
