“Just got this computer and set it up yesterday. Speccy is telling me that the Ryzen 7 chip is running at 80C sitting still and 110C when doing simple things like playing music. the outside of the case isn't hot to the touch....suggestions?”

The temperature you are getting may not be accurate. If you believe there is an issue with your model I recommend reaching out to HP support or the Best Buy Geek Squad directly.
