I think you should give Best Buy / geek squad a chance. I have no regrets buying refurbished from them.

Geek Squad is typically local and you can get that personal care that you could not with even most manufacturers. I did not understand some reviews that the person was not happy with their refurbished computer tower because they have all these resources and the one year warranty to get it all taken care of IF there was any problem! Most issues should appear within hours of starting up!!
