Windows 7 is listed in the OS supported list. If you choose the 6 months free toner as an option, you have to agree to pay a monthly fee. I would say it would be a good option if you print hundreds to thousands of documents per month. You'll need to calculate how much you could save based on the cost of your anticipated number of pages you'll be printing.

If you had a compatible computer, when you'd set it up you'd be asked if you wanted to sign up for Instant Ink. You'd tell it yes, and put in your shipping and billing information (to be used once the six months have passed). In about 10 days, you should receive the first replacement toner, which you'd put in when the toner that comes with the printer is used up. After that, you'll be shipped toner at no additional cost when the toner in the printer gets low.
