The printer has Wi-Fi connectivity and will connect wirelessly to your router - it is then visible to any PC on that network. The printer can also generate it's own Wi-Fi network - it won't act as an access point for your network but it will generate it's own wireless network so that machines can connect even without a router present. It may be obvious, but if you connect to the printers network you don't have internet access, just access to the printer. This means if your laptop or PC has Wi-Fi capability it can connect to the printer and print regardless of whether you have a wireless router or not.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You need a wireless network of some sort or connect directly to your computer. To set up the printer, you need to connect via USB directly to your computer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe you can. You can also just print via the eprint service. you will give the computer an eprint name and can email all files from anywhere and they will automatically print. Additionally NFS. Or printing from the cloud to the laser printer from a smartphone.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can I have printed from my Phone as well as the Laptop as I don't have a desktop all you need do is put in the disk and have internet when you down load the manual the setup gives the option for wifi or it comes with a USB cable that obviously works with a laptop it runs with windows 7 or 8 not sure about 10 but I canned that anyway didn't like it. Not a computer wiz but I believe that your Laptop becomes the hot spot for the printer or maybe its the Bluetooth thing that dose it I'm a truck driver so rarely do I have the internet.
