It uses a hp26a it the best price I found is $126.00. It prints 3000 copies. The is hp26x that prints 9000 copies it cost about $216.00. I don't know how many it can print per day.

If HP has recommended a specific number of pages printed not be exceeded, I am unaware of that number. Suggested output for "standard" pages (ie, word documents rather than heavy graphics) is approximately 3000 per cartridge. I was told the cartridges run about $80 but I have not confirmed that.
