• Yes, you can use 5x7 laser compatible paper with this printer.

• Yes, but this printer is a laser printer and hence can not print on photo papers designed for inkjet printers (which is virtually ALL photo paper). So if you want to print on 5x7 paper that's NOT photo paper, but is multipurpose OR designed for laser printers, you can do so.
