Does this scan to email? null

The M148DW does not scan to email without a computer or phone connected and managing the emailing.

It comes with the HP Easy Scan utility downloadable from the HP site for Mac users. This allows you to scan your docs to a PDF and placed anywhere on your PC. You can then attach that PDF into your email composition. Whether or not you can start an email and then initiate a scan directly from the email program into your email depends on your email program. I use the macOS Mail program that does not support this function for this product. Having said this, it is a very nice product that works well, generates high quality scans, copies and prints and the HP scan utility is flexible and easy to use.
