Automatically = No Manually = Yes HP model numbers can tell you if it can do automatic duplex/dual-sided printing. In this case M177fw F= Fax W=Wireless+Wired D would have meant duplex or dual-sided printing.

Yes it does. Just select double sided printing from the options. Once it prints the 1st side, reinsert the paper back into the feed tray and hit continue.

This HP Printer has manual two sided printing, which means the printer will let you know when to turn over the paper to print on the second side.
