- Answer Thanks for your question. This is a LaserJet and does not use ink, it uses toner. HP does not recommend using a "compatible" ink or toner cartridge. Most printing brands are transitioning to using non-refilled ink or toner cartridges. With HP, we specialize in our cartridges and develop the formula and manufacturing methods for our ink and toner from the ground up, so print consistency, vibrancy, longevity, etc. are all tested and brought to peak performance and capability. Using refilled/remanufactured cartridges removes this guarantee of quality printing, and could damage your printer in the long run.

- Answer No, only one size can be printed at a time. It will not switch between sizes when a print job is sent to the printer.

- Answer It's really not geared toward printing photos for a couple of reasons: 1) It's a monochrome printer, so the pictures wouldn't be in color. 2) Laser printers generally aren't a good choice for photos-the resolution is lower than what you'd get on an inkjet and you need to use special photo paper designed for laser printers. The photo paper you normally get is designed for an inkjet printer and doesn't react well to the heat it's exposed to when going under the fuser (which melts the toner into the paper.

- Answer Yes an actual 3000 page cartridge is included! (Priced at over $100) But when you go to buy refills, go for the x cartridge for 10,000 pages @ just over $200.
