Yes, quite a stupid move by HP. However, you don't have it quite right. The m477fdw DOES have auto duplex. f = fax d = duplex w = wireless That said, you have the following: m477fnw: fax, no auto duplex, wireless m477fdn: fax, auto duplex, no wireless m477fdw: fax, auto duplex, wireless Ironically, the m477fnw is available in most stores but it is the one that I would stay away from due to it's inability to auto duplex.
