• Hello. I have it on WiFi. The only thing connected on the printer is the power source. My co workers and I can print from anywhere in the office as long as the WiFi Network is on. I do not have an Ethernet cable connected to it. If that's what you mean. I hope this helps

• Yes, it is wifi and fine works fine. If a laptop will connect to wifi from the spot you want to put you printer then you should be good.

• Yes, it works on wi- fi w/o being physically plugged into a router. Prints beautifully I might add. We use it at our school and I have teachers print off data sheets from upstairs to my room downstairs.
