“Does the Depth Dimension (16.1) include the paper trays that I assume extend from the printer? (I have a space dilemma)”

The paper tray only sticks out 2 inches from the main frame. It is very deep and holds an inch depth wise of paper. The printed paper tray that catches the printed paper is recessed into the machine. Once the printing starts it pops out to catch the paper. When your finished you push it back in. In other words 90% of the paper tray is inside the lower level of the machine and the catcher tray stays inside till you need it. front to back it measures about 15 inches including the paper tray.
