• Good question. This printer is definitely compatible with Windows XP. The HP driver page still has the driver available for XP. Here is the link to the driver for the 5740 for Windows XP: http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-Officejet-5700-e-All-in-One-Printer-series/6617253/model/6617254 I hope this helps!
