QuestionDo I have to subscribe to Instant Ink to use this printer? I don't print that much (sometimes I go months without printing) but, when I do, I need high quality prints. Do I have to subscribe to Instant Ink with this printer?

- Answer Good question. Yes, this is an Instant Ink printer. If you wish to use this printer without Instant Ink, I suggest you purchase the HP OfficeJet 5740. It is the same exact printer as this except that it doesn't come with $120 Instant Ink credit like this printer does. I hope this helps.

QuestionDoes the printer 5741 have a card slot for camera.? I do not have high speed internet (40mp), just 20. Is that a problem? I have a PC Dimension XPS 400 Intel Pentium D Processor. 820 (2.8Hz) w/ Dual Core. Planning to purchase a laptop too.

- Answer Yes there is a multipurpose slot for various kinds of cards. I suspect the slower internet speed will not impact functionality of printer.

- Answer My wife prints labels via paypal shipping for ebay. I hardly ever print. But, the first thing I had to print was a pdf, No problem. I suspect who ever said it wouldn't print excel or pdf had other issues, Not an issue with the printer itself. Just my thoughts.

QuestionDoes this printer print to bleed? The video shows the ink going off the edge of the paper...bleed.

- Answer Good question. This printer ink does not bleed through the paper. It prints borderless images and documents so that you don't have a white border around pictures and documents you print out. I hope this helps.

- Answer This printer supports Windows 7 and it prints PDFs and excel fles. Open the flie on your Laptop that you want to print, select the printer, it must be installed on your laptop as a default or selectable option, and Print away.
