why isn't the battery included with this printer? null

In the H470 that i just purchased from Best Buy for $250.00 the batter was included but be warned that you need to purchase the wireless adapter if you plan to utilize the wireless function.

Two versions of this printer are available. The one with the battery costs a little more. We offer this alternative if you can print when you are plugged in. Having the option allows those who don’t need the battery to save a little. If you need the battery, consider the HP Officejet Mobile Printer H470b. I am sorry that the web site does not make this clear but the difference between the HP Officejet H470 and the HP Officejet H470b is that the “b” in the latter stands for battery.
