“Is this printer good on ink? I am replacing an hp printer that is about 5 years old and I replaced ink about every 3 months! That gets expensive. Also, to replace all ink, what is the approximate cost? Thanks!”

Good question. The standard capacity ink cartridges on this printer can print up to 400 pages. The XL cartridges can do up to 1000 on the black cartridge and 825 pages on the color cartridges. To save up to 50% on ink, I recommend you look into the HP Instant Ink Program. You never run out of ink with the program and it doesn't matter how much ink you use, only counts the number of pages.
